At 9:00 on February 12, 2021, with a long sound, the Moscow direct train to the Yufenhe Station slowly entered the North Freight Yard of the Yufenhe Station.
This first train, which opened the century-old history of the Yufenhe Port, spanned Eurasia and traveled more than 9,100 kilometers, and arrived at the Yufenhe River on the first day of the Year of the Ox in the Chinese lunar calendar.
This is the first special train in the Fenhe area of China (Heilongjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone since it was approved, marking the interconnection between the Russian hinterland of Europe and the Fenhe River with Moscow as the center, and breaking the long-standing development limitations of relying on the Far East market for cooperation with Russia.
The smooth circulation of a large number of high-quality and low-cost Russian goods will certainly promote Sino-Russian trade exchanges.
This direct train, opened and operated by Yefenhe Haitie Lianjie International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd., consists of 47 40-foot-high container containers, including 34 containers imported birch boards, a total of 1,100 cubic meters, and 13 containers imported Russian candy, totaling 338 tons, which is the first Russian national railway.
The sub-approved Moscow Hoflino Station goes directly to the “charted” train of the Nifenhe Station. The whole process is fixed, dismantled and unassembled.
The running time on the way only takes 12 days.
Compared with the traditional mode of transportation, it saves more than 40 days, and the freight rate has decreased by about 10%, which completely solves the previous scattered collection, marshalling and parking, Cross-border transportation logistics bottlenecks with high transportation time and high freight cost have achieved a qualitative leap in service level.
