7 dead and 1 injured in a Paraguayan military plane crashed
February 10 AsunciĆ³n News: The Paraguayan military confirmed on the evening of the 9th that a small military plane crashed in the central Paraguayan city of Luke on the same day, killing seven people and seriously injuring one person.
General Paredes, the head of the Paraguayan Air Force, announced at the press conference that the crashed aircraft was a Cessna 402 twin-engine aircraft, which took off from Fort Olympo near the Brazilian border and was ready to return to its air base in Luke.
Paredes said the accident occurred 30 seconds before the plane landed, and the control tower did not receive any emergency reports.
Since the plane did not have a black box, the Pakistan Air Force is working with relevant agencies to investigate the cause of the accident.
According to local media reports, the small military plane crashed in the parking lot of the Pakistan Air Force Building 1,000 meters away from the runway of the air force base airport, and then exploded and caught fire.
There were eight people on board, two crew members and six passengers.
The survivor is a 19-year-old student with serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment in the local hospital.
