February 7 A Nigerian official confirmed on the 7th that two villages in Kaduna State in northern Nepal were attacked by unidentified armed elements on the 6th, killing 19 people and injuring many others.
A statement issued by Aruwan, director of the Interior Bureau of Kaduna State, said that militants attacked the villages of Kutmesh in the Birning Guari district of the state on the 6th, respectively.
Arruvan said that 14 people were killed in Kutmesh village and 5 people in Kujni village.
Many more people were injured in two villages and are being treated in hospitals.
He said that the militants also burned many houses and robbed a large amount of property.
Arruwan said that after the attack, Governor Rufay of Kaduna Province asked the security services to intensify their actions to bring the militants who carried out the attack to justice.
