At least 12 people were killed in a bomb attack in central Somalia.

According to the Turkish Anadolu News Agency, on February 7th, local time, a bomb attack occurred in a village 30 kilometers west of the city of Dusamareb, Somalia, targeting the vehicle of the local intelligence and security director.

The intelligence officer and 11 bodyguards were killed. The extremist group Al-Shabaab in Somalia claimed responsibility for the attack.
