Cairo, February 6 – A traffic accident occurred in Minya Province in north-central Egypt on the 6th, killing 11 people.
According to Egypt’s official website of Pyramid on the 6th, the accident occurred on a highway in Minya Province.
A minibus collided with a car, killing 11 people on the spot.
Nine of the dead were from a minibus, and many other injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
Due to poor road conditions and weak awareness of drivers’ traffic rules, traffic accidents occur frequently in Egypt.
In order to reduce traffic accidents, the Egyptian government has been upgrading its road network in recent years and building a large number of new roads and bridges.
