Recently, two Connecticut lawmakers proposed pizza as the state’s official food.
New Haven, Conn. Rep. Patricia Dillon and Sen. Gary Winfield filed a bill to establish the official pizza in the state, Fox News reported, citing the Hartford News. Status.
Dillon told the media, “On the one hand, our pizza is great.
On the other hand, when you go to another state, you can buy pizza in chain restaurants, but our state pizza is family-founded, family-owned, they have their own characteristics and fans, and these small businesses have a lot of influence in their communities.”
Winfield had previously traveled all over the United States as a member of the army.
Although he is from New York, he still praised Connecticut’s pizza. “I have to admit that New Haven’s pizza is really good.
This proposal is indeed an interesting thing.
