He also said that Indian combat aircraft accounted for 80% of Chinese and Russian equipment, including Su-30MKI, MiG-29 multi-function fighters, Mi-17 military transport helicopters, etc.
India is one of the main partners of Russian military technology cooperation. T-90 tanks, Su-30MKI fighters, Ka-226 helicopters and Kalashnikov automatic rifles have been localized.

India intends to purchase 200 helicopters from Russia, 40 of which will be imported directly and the remaining 160 will be assembled in India. Russia won the bid in 2018 and will export “super needle” anti-aircraft missile systems to India.
