January 29 – InĀ recent days, the Netherlands has witnessed a large-scale anti-lockdown protest, and the police dispatched dogs, water cannons and tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.
A woman who did not participate in the protest was unfortunately hit by a high-pressure water cannon from the police, causing a head injury.
According to the British Daily Mail, Denisa Stastna and her boyfriend were only filmed on the spot and did not participate in the protest.
She was accidentally injured by a high-pressure water cannon and flew into the wall, causing a skull fracture and requiring 15 stitches.
Police said they should leave the protest area after the emergency order was issued.
Denisa’s boyfriend told the media that they had not acted violently at the time. “We are regarded as troublemakers, which is very sad.” Denisa also said: “We were just shooting videos and then walking away.
We did not participate in the protest demonstration, and the police did not have the power to attack us with high-pressure water cannons.” The couple is planning to take action to express their dissatisfaction with the police.
A spokesman for the Dutch prosecutor said: “During the protest demonstration, many announcements clearly require people to leave quickly in accordance with emergency regulations.”
