The Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the previous U.S. government was still taking hostile measures against China until the last minute before stepping down, spreading a large number of false statements and even malicious attacks on border-related issues.

Syria reiterates its adherence to the one-China principle, supports China and opposes all attempts to interfere in China’s internal affairs, especially on Taiwan-related, Hong Kong-related and Xinjiang-related issues, which is contrary to the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
