Bloomberg reported on January 26 that the U.S. Senate may vote on whether it is constitutional to impeach former President Trump.

Previously, quoting USA Today, Trump’s impeachment case was sent to the Senate at 8 a.m.

Earlier, the House of Representatives passed an impeachment clause against Trump on the 13th, accusing him of “sedition”, and the prosecution and defense statements will begin the week of February 8.

It is understood that there are 100 members of the Senate, half of whom are Democrats and half of the Republicans.
