According to Syrian media reports, in the early morning of the 22nd local time, Israel carried out an air strike on the area around Hama City, the capital of Hama Province in western Syria, killing four civilians and injuring four others.
Several local residential buildings were seriously damaged in the air strike.
Israel has long been targeting air strikes in Syria on the grounds of attacking Iranian military facilities, but both the Syrian and Iranian governments deny that Iran has troops in Syria.
