January 21st – New York State was heavily guarded during Biden’s inauguration ceremony, and there were no large-scale protests.
After going to the protest site, a man in the United States found that only he was himself, and thousands of protesters who planned to go did not appear.
NBC and New York WCBS reported that there were no large-scale protests during Biden’s inauguration in New York, with only one protester in front of the state’s parliament building.
The FBI had previously warned that Biden’s inauguration could trigger large-scale armed protests.
Morgan Mckay, a reporter for Spectrum News, tweeted a photo saying that only one person was waving a pro-Trump flag in front of the heavily guarded state capitol.
According to McCay, the Trump supporter is named Mark Leggiero.
In an interview, Leggero said he was very disappointed because he expected thousands of people to be present and drove 45 minutes to the Capitol.
