At about 15:00 local time on January 20, a building exploded in Madrid, the capital of Spain.
So far, the explosion has killed three people, one person disappeared and injured at least 11 people.
Among them, two of the dead were pedestrians passing by at the time of the accident.
Among the injuries, a 55-year-old man was seriously injured.
According to the government of the Madrid region, the explosion was a gas explosion.
The building is located at 98 Toledo Street in Madrid and has been completely destroyed.
After the accident, the police closed the scene, ambulances and fire trucks also arrived at the scene.
The buildings surrounding the explosion were churches, nursing homes and a school.
At present, about 100 people living in nursing homes have been dispersed and are in good condition.
No students were affected by the explosion because of the previous heavy snow that was still suspended.
