British Secretary of Trade: Britain will soon formally apply for joining the CPTPP

Liz Truss, the British Secretary of State for International Trade, said on Wednesday that the United Kingdom will soon submit an application for membership in the Comprehensive Progress Agreement (CPTPP) of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

“We will soon submit a formal request to join this free trade area,” Truss said, describing it as “one of the most dynamic trade zones in the world.”
