Okinawa Prefecture of Japan declared a state of emergency on its own.

Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, decided to declare a state of emergency on Tuesday night (19th) until February 7.

It is reported that the authorities will call on the county’s catering industry to close before 8 p.m. and call on local residents to avoid unnecessary trips after 8 p.m.

Okinawa Prefecture added 113 new confirmed cases on the 19th, the third highest in a single day.
