January 19th – Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiee said today (19th) that Iran has not received any news from U.S. President-elect Biden about the U.S. return to the Iran nuclear agreement.
Earlier Israeli media reported that Biden’s team had begun secret dialogue with Iran on the resumption of the nuclear agreement and updated Israel.
According to the Russian satellite news agency on the 19th, Rabiya said in the briefing that he had not received any such information from the United States.
Rabier said that unless he was convinced that the United States resumed compliance with the Iran nuclear agreement without preconditions, the contacts between the two sides would be meaningless.
An Iranian spokesman said that Iran hopes that the Iran nuclear agreement will continue and expect the new U.S. government to take action to fulfill its abandoned commitments to the agreement to build confidence in all parties.
On Saturday (16th), Israeli media reported that with a few days to take office, U.S. government incoming officials have begun secret dialogue with Iran on the return of the United States to nuclear agreement, and U.S. officials also updated Tel Aviv accordingly.
The report said that the representative of Biden’s team “has begun to play games with Iran on the potential return of the Iran nuclear agreement”.
In July 2015, Iran and the six countries on the Iranian nuclear issue reached a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue.
