Spain’s Ministry of Health reported on January 18 local time that Spain has launched a second dose of COVID-19 vaccination for nursing home personnel and medical staff that morning, 21 days after the country’s first coronavirus vaccination.
An elderly man living in a nursing home in Guadalajara in Spain and an employee working in the nursing home have completed the vaccination of the second dose.
Eight regions of the country have started the vaccination of a second dose of the coronavirus vaccine since January 17 local time.
Spanish health authorities warned that the human body can not be immunized against the novel coronavirus until at least seven days after the second dose of vaccination, so people must strictly abide by epidemic prevention measures.
