Five cabinet members in Namibia are infected with the novel coronavirus.

According to local media reports, since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, five Namibian cabinet members have been infected with the novel coronavirus, including Cabinet Secretary-General Himata, Vice President Mbumba, Minister of Industry and Trade Iyapoo, Defense Minister Vilo, and Minister of Justice Dausabu.

In addition, on January 14th local time, the Secretary-General of the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM), the opposition party, said that Winanny, the chairman of the party who contracted the novel coronavirus at the end of December, recovered well and was discharged from the hospital on the 13th and returned home.
