During Trump’s first impeachment in late 2019 and early 2020, Bannon set up a podcast where he and other Trump allies defend the president in public.
Bannon also used his podcast to support Trump’s much-maligned response to the coronavirus pandemic, supporting his re-election and endorsing his claim that “the election was fraudulent.”
Bannon reportedly did not comment on this report.
Biden announces $1.9 trillion rescue plan
Biden announced the $1.9 trillion rescue bill “American Rescue Plan” on the 14th, including some economic stimulus measures to support families and businesses.
The bailout is the first of two major spending plans Biden sought in the first few months since he took office, according to officials from the Biden team.
His second bill, which is expected to be introduced in February, aims to address the long-term goals of job creation, infrastructure reform, combating climate change and advancing racial equality.
However, the size of the nearly $2 trillion bill may be opposed by Republicans.
