Biden will check in at the U.S. State Guesthouse the night before taking office, opposite the White House.

January 15 According to Fox News, a spokesman for the U.S. State Department confirmed that the White House has given President-elect Biden the right to use Blair Palace (the State Guesthouse) the night before the inauguration ceremony (19th), and Biden has accepted the offer.

Blair Palace is reported to be located on Pennsylvania Avenue opposite the White House.

For decades, the president-elect of the United States has spent the night there on the eve of the inauguration.
