The pandemic situation in Lebanon has accelerated to worsen, and 4,557 new cases have been confirmed in a single day.

The official website of the Ministry of Health of the Lebanese caretaker government announced on the 12th that 4,557 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 76 deaths in the past 24 hours.

At present, a total of 226,948 cases and 1,705 deaths have been confirmed in Lebanon.

According to official information, Lebanon will enter a health emergency on Thursday (14th) until the 25th of this month; during this period, all public and private institutions except necessary departments will be closed and all personnel will be kept at home to curb the accelerating worsening coronavirus pandemic.

This is also the strictest control measures taken by the Lebanese authorities since the pandemic.
