Bloomberg reported on January 12 that President-elect Joe Biden said that Trump should step down after last week triggered riots in the American Capitol.
Biden said his legislative priority was the stimulus bill, not the impeachment of the current president.
“I don’t think President Trump should stay in the office,” Biden told reporters during a second dose of the vaccine Monday.
Asked “given the attack on the U.S. Capitol last week, he was afraid to swear in outside on January 20”, Biden said he was not afraid to take an oath outside, CNN reported.
He noted: “It is vital to pay genuine and serious attention to the responsibility of those who engage in incitement and threaten people’s lives.”
