The General Investigation Department of Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Russian Federal Investigation Commission, issued an announcement on the 9th that at about 00:30 local time on the 9th, an avalanche occurred in a ski resort in Norilsk City, the Krai, and four buildings in the snowfield area were buried.
Rescuers found the bodies of three victims during the search and rescue, among which Include one child.
Another rescued seriously injured teenager has been sent to the hospital for treatment.
According to Russian media reports, the local emergency department has now blocked the avalanche area.
