Based on the principle of reciprocity, Russia decided to expand the list of citizens of EU member states prohibited from entering Russia. Those who gradually upgraded sanctions against Russia within the EU were included in the list.
The statement said that Germany, France, Sweden and the European Union have been notified of the relevant measures.
Navalline is a well-known Russian opposition figure. On August 20, he suddenly fell into a coma on the way to Moscow, and then the plane made an emergency landing in Omsk. Local doctors in Omsk said that no traces of poison were found in Navalline. After that, Navalline was taken to a hospital in Berlin, Germany, for treatment. Since then, laboratories in Germany, France, Sweden and other countries have confirmed that Navalline has been attacked by “Novichok”-like nerve agents.
Since then, in the case of Navalline, the European Union has imposed sanctions on many Russian citizens, including senior officials such as the Russian Federal Security Service, the Ministry of Defense, the Presidential Office and so on.
