Including the United Kingdom, all international flights will be suspended and all border ports except transportation operations will be suspended from 11 p.m. on the same day.
Tariq Muzrim, a spokesman of the Kuwaiti government, said on social media that the relevant measures will be implemented until January 1, 2021, and the implementation of these measures will be evaluated according to the new situation.
Earlier, Kuwait announced the suspension of civil aviation flights to and from the United Kingdom on the evening of the 20th, while Saudi Arabia and Oman, also located in the Gulf region, have successively announced the closure of their borders.
