December 18th – Jennifer Jacobs, a White House reporter from Bloomberg, announced on Twitter that Biden adviser Cedric Richmond tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Earlier, the Capitol Hill reported on the 16th that an American journalist tested positive for the novel coronavirus and went to Georgia with President-elect Biden on Tuesday (15th).
Biden’s office issued a statement saying that a communication officer had been instructed to quarantine out of high caution. In addition, transition team officials immediately kept track of the outbreak and determined that the confirmed reporter had not had close contact with Biden.
