The Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Fatmir Bitiki, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of North Macedonia, said on the 14th that he had been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.

“The COVID-19 test I got today showed positive, and I am in stable condition and mild symptoms and hope to recover as soon as possible,” Bitiki said on social platforms.

Bitiki did not attend the North Macedonian government press conference earlier that day.

At the beginning of the press conference, a government spokesman said that Bitiki was absent due to health reasons.
