CNN : the police in Washington, D.C., on December 13 local time, at least four people were stabbed and at least 23 people were arrested in a protest in Washington, D.C. on the evening of the 12th because they were dissatisfied with the results of the presidential election.
The day before, a large number of pro-Trump protesters and counter-protesters gathered outside the U.S. Supreme Court to protest and support the outcome of the presidential election. The majority of the people involved in the relevant activities do not wear masks.
Since 7 p.m. on the 12th, eight people have been transported from the protest site to the hospital by emergency medical services (EMS).
According to the office of the mayor of the SAR, four stabbed victims were seriously injured, two policemen were not fatally injured, and two others were slightly injured.
The mayor’s office also said that at least 23 people were arrested in the protest.
Of these, 6 attacked the police, 10 attacked others, 4 committed violence, 2 crossed the cordon, and 1 held prohibited weapons.
According to videos circulating on social media in the United States, there have been riots and sporadic physical contact in parts of Washington.
