State Railway Group: China-EU trains opened 1,238 trains in November, continuing to operate at a high level.
According to the news from the State Railway Group, in November this year, China-EU trains opened a total of 1,238 trains, continuing to operate at a high level.
In November, 1,238 China-Europe trains were opened, transporting 115,000 standard boxes, an increase of 64% and 73% year-on-year, respectively, and the comprehensive heavy box rate reached 98.8%.
Recently, the demand for transport of China-EU trains has continued to be strong. However, due to the strengthening of epidemic prevention and control measures at port stations and the impact of severe weather abroad, the port’s handover capacity has declined.
The railway department scientifically allocates port capacity and transportation demand, and regards China-EU trains as the top priority of international intermodal transport.
It does not stop shipping and does not limit loading; in Horgos, II Lianhot and other ports have implemented capacity expansion and transformation to improve the capacity of port stations to change and hand over, strengthen international coordination and cooperation, establish flexible port handover methods, and ensure the safety and smoothness of China-EU train channels.
