According to Brazilian media reports, on the afternoon of December 9th local time, Marcelo Antonio, the country’s tourism minister, was removed by Brazilian President Jail Bolsonaro.
It is reported that the previous day, Tourism Minister Antonio severely accused Luis Ramos, the minister of the government secretariat of the Brazilian presidential palace, of carrying out political covert operations with Centrão, saying that he tried to put centrists in the post of tourism minister in exchange for Congressional support for Ramos.
According to sources, although Antonio apologized afterwards, Bolsonaro said he did not accept the inculable differences between government cabinet ministers. Media analysis said that Ramos was a political ally of Bolsonaro, and the two had established close cooperation while serving in the army.
