December 9th – U.S. media said that Ivanka and Kushner may go to Florida after leaving Washington. They will spend more than $30 million on a piece of land in Miami.
According to the Capitol Hill newspaper on the 8th, the transaction is close to completion. Located on Indian Creek Island in Miami, the site covers 1.8 acres (about 7,284 square meters) and is about 60 miles (95 kilometers) from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
In 2017, Ivanka and Kushner moved from New York to the Kalorama neighborhood in Washington with their three children. Both of them worked as White House advisers. The couple still own their apartments in New York.
Ivanka’s mother, Ivana, said in November that she hoped that the children could move back to New York after her father’s presidency and live a “normal life”.
Ivana said, “I think they like to be with Trump, like to participate in the election campaign, and see what happens, but now, thank God, it’s over. I’m not sure what they will do in the future.”
