Albanian police arrested 3 “snake heads” suspected of transshipping illegal immigrants

According to local media reports on December 8, three “snake heads” who transit illegal immigrants have been arrested by the police in the southwest Albanian city of Volta.

The three suspects were arrested on the way to Tirana by using a car to transport a total of 10 illegal immigrants from the border between Albania and Greece.

They promised to transfer these illegal immigrants from Middle Eastern countries to other EU countries and charge 250 euros per person.
