Recently, U.S. officials disclosed that the total U.S. military equipment exports in fiscal year 2020 (from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020) amounted to $175 billion, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year.
According to the data released by the U.S. State Department, the export value of U.S. fighter jets and guided missiles increased significantly in the fiscal year, and the two major military companies, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Company, received large orders.
According to the data, Japan bought 63 F-35 fighters from Lockheed Martin, with a total order of $23 billion.
