December 7th – U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo recently claimed that Venezuela’s parliamentary elections were fraudulent, and Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza criticized “zombie talk”.

Venezuelan President Maduro said earlier that he would resign if the opposition won the election.
