Khartoum, December 4 Prime Minister Hamduk of the Transitional Government of the Sudan said on the 3rd that while doing a good job in the coordinated fight against the epidemic, he was willing to accelerate the progress of key projects of common concern to both sides, and expand and deepen cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Hamduk met with Ma Xinmin, the Chinese ambassador to Sudan, in the capital Khartoum on the same day. The two sides exchanged views on the relationship between the two countries, the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus epidemic, etc.
Hamduk said that the Soviet side thanked China for its long-term invaluable support to the Soviet Union in political, economic, international affairs and other fields. At the height of the epidemic situation in Sudan, China not only provided many batches of material assistance to the Soviet Union, but also sent medical experts to share and teach the experience of epidemic prevention and control. The Soviet side thanked China for its selfless help and will always remember the deep friendship between the two countries in common difficulties and hardships.
Hamduk said that Sudan is currently in a critical transitional stage to achieve comprehensive peace and revitalize the economy and people’s livelihood. While doing a good job in the fight against the epidemic, it is willing to accelerate the progress of key projects of common concern to both sides, and expand and deepen cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Ma Xinmin said that China and the Soviet Union are sincere partners who trust each other and share their destiny. They have cooperated closely in economic and social development for a long time and have always supported and cooperated with each other on issues related to each other’s core interests and major concerns.
In the face of the COVID-19 epidemic, the two countries have united and cooperated, joined hands to fight against the epidemic, fully demonstrated the precious brotherhood, and vividly interpreted the concept of a community of human destiny.
