slamabad, November 16 A passenger car crashed into a valley on the 16th in the Nowshera area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan. Eight people have died and 11 others have been injured.
Nur Wali Khan, a government official in the Nowshera Region : the dead included women and children.
Rescuers have rushed to the scene to carry out rescue operations and sent the injured to the hospital for treatment.
Witnesses were quoted by local media as saying that the bus lost control when making a sharp turn and dashed out of the road into the valley.
Traffic accidents occur frequently in Pakistan, mostly due to the aging of vehicles, rugged roads and disrepair, and poor safety awareness of drivers.
