a total of 31 civilians were killed by unidentified gunmen in the Gudafela area of Southern Ethiopia between October 19 and 21.
The chief administrative officer of the region, Faikre Aman, said that 16 suspects in connection with the attack have been arrested, and one of them is a policeman. He said that 1,480 families in the area have been displaced by this, taking refuge in nearby towns and receiving temporary assistance. Currently, no organization has claimed responsibility for the shooting.
