The police station of Kandahar Province in southern Afghanistan confirmed on the 9th that a
car bomb attack occurred near the police station in the Maiwand district of
Kandahar Province on the evening of the 8th local time
killing 13 civilians and policemen and wounding 49 others. One attacker was bombed on the spot.
No organization or individual has announced the cause of this attack.
The negotiations between the Afghan government and the Taliban started in Qatar on September 12.
The two sides are working hard to find a political solution to the current situation in Afghanistan
But the Taliban’s attacks on the Afghan security forces have not stopped.
