February 6th, local time, in the “City Justice Center” building in St. Louis, Missouri, some prisoners escaped from their cells, set fire to the building, smashed glass windows and threw things outside the building.
According to local media, citing the mayor’s office of St. Louis, the escaped prisoners confronted the prison guards.
At one time, 115 prisoners occupied part of the building, and one prison guard was injured and taken to the hospital.
At about 10 a.m. local time, the police controlled the situation by throwing tear gas, etc., and all the prisoners who escaped from prison have been re-detained.
