Mumbai, January 9 According to Indian media reports, a fire broke out in a hospital in the western Maharashtra state of India in the early morning of the 9th, killing at least 10 babies.
It is reported that the hospital was located in Pendala District, about 900 kilometers from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra.
The fire area is the hospital’s sick newborn care area.
At about 2 a.m. on the same day, a fire broke out in the hospital, killing seven other babies.
Preliminary investigation by the local police showed that the cause of the fire may be a short circuit.
