According to a report by Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation on March 26, local time, Zambian President Rengu recently signed his country’s cyber security bill, which is to create a secure cyber environment for Zambia and serve as a warning to those who carry out illegal activities through the Internet unbridledly.

President Rengu said that he signed the cybersecurity bill to protect Zambian citizens, including adolescents and children, from cybercrime through legal means, while also providing protection for the country’s key information infrastructure.

In addition, the bill also applies to the collection and preservation of evidence of cybercrime.
