World Cancer Day is on February 4 every year.
The World Health Organization said recently that the number of new cancer cases is expected to increase significantly in the next decades, and the number of new cases worldwide will increase by nearly 50% by 2040 compared with 2020, with low- and middle-income countries increasing the largest increase.
