According to the Russian satellite news agency on January 20, the representative of the World Health Organization in Russia, Melita Vuinović, said that the rate of COVID-19 infection in Russia is declining.
Earlier on the 20th, Russian Health Minister Mulashko said, “In the past 20 days, the number of new infections in Russia has been decreasing, so we are moving towards a decline and the epidemic can be controlled.”
She cautioned that Russian nationals should not relax, because the number of infections remains at 20,000.
She emphasized the positive role of vaccination in curbing the epidemic.
