WHO Director-General: Vaccination helps limit COVID-19 mutation

by YCPress

On January 8th local time, WHO held a regular press conference on COVID-19.

WHO Director-General Tedros said that equitable vaccination can save lives, stabilize health systems and promote global economic recovery, thus creating jobs.

Importantly, vaccinations can also help limit the mutation of COVID-19.

The current mutant COVID-19 is adapting itself to spreading in the population as much as possible.

If we don’t reduce the spread of the virus and get the vaccines fairly, it will help spread.
