The Philippine Volcanic Seismological Research Institute sent a message on March 11 local time that since the early morning of the same day, Volcano activity in Ta’ar has increased significantly and gas emissions have increased.
The agency said that the emissions of sulfur dioxide from Mount Ta’Al have been on the rise since the 6th and peaked at 15,900 tons per day on the 9th.
At present, the warning level of Mount Ta’ar remains at level 2, indicating that the volcano is unstable.
Mount Ta’Al, located about 100 kilometers south of Manila, the capital of the Philippines, erupted violently on January 12, 2020.
