January 2nd, according to the latest news from the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the first mutant COVID-19 infected person was found in Vietnam.

The infected person returned to Vietnam by plane from London, England, on December 22, and then was quarantined in Charong Province.

It has been identified that the infected person carries the same COVID-19 as the mutant COVID-19 previously found in the United Kingdom.

Experts say that the new mutant virus is more infectious.
