According to statistics from the UN refugee agency, as of the 14th local time, more than 17,000 refugees have poured into Sudan from Ethiopia, most of them women and children.

Ethiopia’s Tigray State borders neighboring Eritrea, and this area has always been the main area for hosting Eritrean refugees.

Before the outbreak of the armed conflict in Tizhou, about 96,000 Eritrean refugees camped in the area. However, since the outbreak of the military conflict in Tizhou on November 4, the area’s transportation, electricity

communications, banking services, fuel supply, etc. have all been restricted, making local life more difficult.

More and more Ethiopians live in Eritrean refugees in the region began to seek safety in neighboring Sudan.
