Ukrainian State News Agency reported on April 12 local time that Ukrainian President Zelensky said in an interview with the U.S. cable network during his recent inspection on the Donbas front line in eastern Ukraine that Ukraine was ready to respond to the Russian invasion.
“Russia has the possibility of an invasion, and that’s happening every day since 2014,” Zelensky said. “They [the Russians] are ready, but we [Ukraine] are ready, too.” Ukrainian President Zelensky visited the Donbas front line position in eastern Ukraine on the 8th of this month.
