The Ukrainian State News Agency reported on the 8th that in response to the statement made by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Kozak at the meeting of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences that “the military action by the Kiev authorities in Donbas will be the beginning of Ukraine’s end”, Mikhailo, the adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Yermak Mykhailo Podoliak, the head of the European Union, said on the same day that Ukraine was not interested in escalating military confrontation, and diplomatic channels remained Ukraine’s priority, but Ukraine was ready to deal with any situation.

On April 8, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Kozak said at a meeting of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences that Kiev’s operation in Donbas was a public relations act of simulating military threats in an attempt to solve the political crisis in Ukraine, and there could not really be a plan to launch an all-out war.

At the same time, Kozak also said that anything can happen. Kozak stressed that the military action taken by the Kiev authorities in Donbas would be the beginning of Ukraine’s end. If necessary, Russia can stand up to protect the people of Donbas.
