The National Disaster Reduction Commission of the Philippines issued a notice on December 23 that Typhoon Rey had affected 2.19 million people in the country, with economic losses of 3.6 billion PHPsos, about 70 million USD.
The report shows that there are still 125 towns that have not resumed power supply, 236 towns are in a state of network interruption, a total of 130,000 houses nationwide have been damaged to varying degrees, and a total of 93 roads, hospitals and other infrastructure have been damaged, with economic losses exceeding PH 2.5 billion, about the people.
